Clinical Nurse Educator

Clinical Nurse EducatorTelistat - Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 The TeliStat™ Restorative Care Unit is a revolutionary care program transforming the senior health care delivery model. TeliStat™ was recently recognized by New York State Department of Health for its innovative program. Healthcare reform is forcing nursing homes to transform the way they deliver healthcare services to their residents. In order to survive a rapidly evolving market, TeliStat™ has identified the need to treat patients with much higher levels of medical acuity in post-acute environment. In order to meet this challenge, an integration of groundbreaking technology, highly trained nurses and teams of specialty physicians are required, typically not seen in existing nursing homes. TeliStat is looking to add a Clinical Nurse Educator to the team with the responsibility of facilitating clinical excellence and staff development through the management of TeliStat training programs and remediation for clinical nursing staff members. The Clinical Nurse Educator will participate in the development and revision of educational courses and in-services and will act as a resource and mentor for registered nurses. Responsibilities: Design nursing education curricula Develop, coordinate and manage Telistat training programs Maintain thorough and accurate employee documentation Contribute clinical expertise to facilitate the achievement of organizational goals Assist in the establishment and revision of policies, procedures and practice techniques Plan site specific educational schedules Teach classroom courses Assess the knowledge and practice level of nurses and provide remediation as needed Maintain professional competence and appearance Provide educational resources to learners Minimum Qualifications: Valid New York State RN license BLS and ACLS certified 5 years nursing experience, critical care experience preferred Previous nurse educator experience preferred Previous experience as preceptor/mentor Travel required Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Leadership and staff development skills Exceptional critical thinking skills Ability to manage stress and handle challenging situations and personalities Passion for learning and using clinical expertise to improve health care Job Type: Full-time Job Location: Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 Required education: Bachelor's Required experience: nursing: 5 years Required license or certification: Registered Nurse (RN)

Entry Level Desktop Support Technician (Nights and Weekends)

Benefits Offered: Vision, Medical, Dental Employment Type: Full-Time Position: Entry Level Desktop Support Technician Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · IT Support relating to technical issues involving our proprietary technology and web-based application · Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues · Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits · Answering support calls and providing a high level of customer support for the organization · Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal team members · Providing help for various hardware and software upgrades, repairs and support. · Ensure all issues are properly logged for all calls · Prioritize and manage several open issues · Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals · Office 365 Support Skills · Daily schedule maintenance - Update, track, record time for each support ticket · Use and understand Mobile Device Management tools · Assist in developing and documenting improvements to current processes · Assist coworkers in resolution of end users' technical issues Requirements · Work experience as a Desktop Support Technician, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role · Hands-on experience with Windows operating system · Good understanding of computer systems and mobile devices · Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues · Familiarity with remote desktop applications · Excellent problem-solving and communication skills · Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal Preferred · BS degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or relevant field (is not required) · Additional certification in Microsoft, Cisco or similar technologies is a plus ImagineMed maintains a strong policy of equal employment opportunity for all.
