Ehsun is a quadruple Board Certified Critical Care physician, the Chief of Medicine (elect) for Kent County Memorial Hospital. For 15 years, he has taken care of the critically ill patients by leading an efficient checklist based, highly protocolized rounding system. Taking pride in the well oiled ICU's agile team. Having designed and implemented many protocols and beta tested various EMR systems for the hospital. Teaching and trained medical students and residents rotating through the ICU as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine UNECOM. Providing leadership opportunities for the ICU staff to train and further their careers. Published and implemented Early Goal-Directed Therapy Protocol not only throughout the hospital but also in community nursing homes to decrease their number of re-admissions. Now his passion is to develop predictive algorithms from smart sensors to get ahead of disease processes in real time for meaningful outcomes and most cost-effective health care.
